We will inform you about the recall of the Öhlins air front forks RXF36 and RXF34. The air front forks were sold as aftermarket equipment and as original equipment on some Specialized-branded Enduro, Stumpjumper, Fuse, and Levo mountain bicycles. The products were sold between January 2016 through September 2018. We have received some reports of the air cartridge coming loose and springing out of the fork stanchion tube, with risk of injury to the rider. Specifically, the right-side top cap on some forks may not be adequately torqued which in some cases may lead to the top cap working itself free through riding.
Which products are affected?
- RXF 34 Air 29 (part no's FG3412 1512, FG3414 1512, FG3416 1512)
- RXF 36 Air 27,5 (part no's FG3614 1716, FG3615 1716, FG3616 1716, FG3617 1716)
