The second race of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup took place in Monza on the last weekend. The Belgian Audi team WRT-w racing team celebrated a historic victory and won Monza as the first Audi team since the first edition of the Blancpain GT Series 2011 in Monza on the legendary Circuit circuit.
In an action thrilled race, the # 1 the WRT team started with its drivers Dries Vanthoor, Christopher Mies and Alex Ribieras in fourth place and was able to prevail in the big grid of 53 cars in the end.
At the end of qualifying, Emil Frey Jaguar Racing finished on an excellent second place. The riders Alex Fontana, Adrian Zaugg and Mikael Grenier dominated their class class in qualifying and in the race and safely won the Silver Cup. The fifth place in the overall ranking crowned this fantastic success.
Place 4-7 also went to teams on Öhlins. 4th place went to GRT Grasser Racing Team on Lamborghini, 5th place Emil Frey Jagaur Racing, 6th place Attempto Racing and 7th place finished the 2nd car of the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT.
