Three wins out of three races, this was the fantastic result after the first three rounds of VLN - Langstreckenmeisterschaft last Saturday at Nürburgring.
After this race not only was the sky blue and white but also the Podium, because on the first three places BMW drove with their BMW M6 GT3. It was the fastest 4 hour race of all times at VLN with an average speed of 170,26 km/h. The winning car of team Schubert Motorsport was driven by Jörg Müller, Marco Wittmann and Jesse Krohn. They saved their narrow lead of 0.382 seconds into the finish ahead of their team partners Lucas Luhr, Martin Tomczyk and John Edwards who drove the second BMW M6 GT3 of the factory team “Team Schubert Motorsport.“
Third place was taken by the private team of Walkenhorst Motorsport with their drivers Christian Kogner, Victor Bouveng and Tom Blonqvist.
All BMW M6 GT's are equipped with TTX 40 suspension by Öhlins.
After the first three races of VLN 2016 we are excited for the ADAC 24 hour race to start and to see who will be on the podium. Good luck and best wishes to all Öhlins equipped competitors in the race!
