BMW star Peter Hickman of the Smith Racing Team has crowned himself the "Man of the Meeting" at the MCE Ulster Gran Prix for the second year in a row.
The 31-year-old was declared the winner in a MMB Surfacing Superbike race. Due to the heavy rain, the race was held in a shortened distance. Along with his previous victory in the Centra Whitemaountain Supersport race and 2nd place in the former Lisburn & Castlereagh City superstock race, his placements ranged for the title of "Manx Man Conor Cummins". In addition, he received the "Darran Lindsay Memorial Trophy after 2017 for the second time in a row due to his outstanding results.
Due to the changing conditions, the races were very challenging and a big battle, but Peter Hickman took his chances and prevailed in a strong field.
Thus, he has won this year in all road races of the season (Isle of man TT, North West 200, MCE Ulster Grand Prix) victories and titles.
Congratulations on this outstanding achievement.
