Service & Assembly Technician
A full time position within our well-equipped and clean servicing workshop is available to cater for the increasing demand in servicing work. The successful candidate is a person with a technical background, where previous experience of working with suspension is preferred. The areas of servicing work range from performance suspension for cars and motorcycles, to our latest mountain bike shocks and forks as supplied to Specialized on their downhill race bikes.
The technician will report directly to the Workshop Manager and perform servicing and assembly work according to the weekly schedule. The tasks include dismantling of the suspension products, cleaning and preparation, reassembling and replacing worn or damaged items where necessary, then refilling with gas and oil using Öhlins own vacuum filling machine.
Our technical team in Germany provides full training.
Please note the position is for a service technician present full time at our facility in Meuspath, Germany from Monday to Friday. We are not seeking a race technician to attend race events at this time, although it could be feasible that the opportunity arises in the future.
The candidate shall conduct himself/herself in a professional manner and be a good communicator, both orally and written. It is a prerequisite to be fluent in German and English. Having experience with motorcycles and an interest in cars and mountain bikes is also preferable.
