FTR and Ohlins have had a great weekend at Wakes Colne for the 5th round of the Michelin MX Nationals,
Jakes Shipton cleaned up in both moto's for the top step of the podium for the first time in the pro class, after qualifying 3rd the team of FTR knew that they were in for a treat and then after pulling a nice holeshot in race one and then taking his first moto win, the pressure was on for race two, he didn't disappoint, it took a couple laps to pass Brad Anderson but once he took the lead, he made a comfortable lead of around 10 seconds.
In the 125cc class, Ben Clark managed a consistent yet delicate weekend on the hardpack surface due to being a rough terrain rider, he had a small off in race two on Saturday but still managed a 3rd place on the podium overall.
