The Fishtown Race Bremerhaven taking place at Pentecost every year is an unique event in whole Europe. Up to 400 starters from different nations fight for one of the desired spots at the podium. Every year around 20.000 visitors celebrate this racing event in its unique spririt and heritage. The Fishtown Race exists since 1952 and has not changed until today. It is one of the last road racing events in Germany and takes place for more than 60 years in the middle of Bremerhaven's port area.

This year Öhlins DTC was attending with a stand in the trade area to show products, answer questions from interested visitors and presented the brand new merchandise collection. During this two breath-taking days we had prominent visitors at our stand. Cuisine chef and TV star Andy Schweiger, racing in Fishtown himself, as well as IDM superstar Max Neukirchner stopped for a chat. We took the chance to take photo with them, off-course.

Even the northern coast weather was quite ok and at Monday where the races take place it was mainly dry. Unfortunately one of the racers died after a horrible crash on Monday. But all in all the event was well organized and successful. We are looking forward for next year.
