Last weekend the IDM Superbike season started at Lausitzring.
Öhlins runners finished in the first nine positions of both SBK races, an achievement that endorses Öhlins position as the No.1 brand for racing suspension in Germany.
Max Neukirchner (Team Yamaha MGM) won on his Yamaha YZF-R1M the first race after a great fight against Mathieu Gines from Team "Van Zon-Remeha BMW". In the second race both riders changed their positions and Mathieu Gines asserted himself on his BMW S1000RR against Max Neukirchen. Florian Alt also a team member of "Team Yamaha MGM" made his debut at the weekend with his first podium position. In race one he finished 3rd and in race two he gained 4th position and secure points for the championship.
In a few days the next round of IDM Superbike is underway at Nürburgring (6th - 8th May), where Öhlins DTC and its race technicians will be in support from its local facility in Meuspath.
