Öhlins DTC (Germany) offers the position 'Customer Support – Aftersales'

The successful candidate is a person with prior experience of working within a customer services department, where good telephone skills are a prerequisite. The role will be full time in the Customer Support department, with a primary focus on communication with customers, both existing and new. The role also requires some experience in sales, since it is expected that aftersales shall act as a 'pull-through' for sales from activities such as upselling at the point of contact with the customer. The candidate will represent the first point of contact for the customer, where a good knowledge of motorsport/bikes/cars/mountain bikes is desirable, but not essential since aftersales will be supported in the background by the sales, marketing and technical departments.

Further activities include offering information to customers on order status, product availability and general assistance to the Customer Support manager with tasks that can be fulfilled by the aftersales function.

The successful candidate is used to dealing with international contacts with very good communication in German & English, plus French is desirable although not essential. An appreciation of computer software such as IFS is preferable since it will be an important tool for the everyday job function, although training will be available.

The candidate is good at working with others and able to handle several different tasks at the same time. Other vital personality traits are being energetic and well organised.
